I'm Brian Nolan, and I have the honor to serve as the president of East Tennessee State University. ETSU is distinctive among the public institutions in the state of Tennessee, by virtue of our mission, our service, our instruction, and the advantage that defines ETSU. That advantage is the fact that we're major comprehensive university 15,000 students, but we're still small enough to have a small school feel. Our student faculty ratio is 15:1. We're a university in which our students have the chance to be part of our mission, a mission of improving the quality of life for the people of our region, and they're engaged in that mission, through outreach, through service through volunteer work, and through undergraduate research. We're distinctive because of the advantage that we provide to students with the chance to be involved in the classroom, the chance to participate in study abroad, and the chance to be a part of an institution that is undergoing a physical transformation. I encourage you to visit our campus and see the things that are happening here. And I invite you to be a part of that experience. I invite you to be a part of the ETSU family. And I promise you that upon the completion of your baccalaureate, master's, doctoral professional degrees, that you too will be transformed by our experience. Once again, I'm Brian Nolan, I have the honor to serve as president of this great university. Come visit me. I hope to see you soon. Godspeed and go Bucs.
