Academics are the heart of your university experience! East Tennessee State University offers you more than 160 academic programs organized across 10 colleges and schools, among which are our College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Technology, and Clemmer College, as well as the colleges comprising our Academic Health Sciences Center. Our dynamic curriculum and opportunities for undergraduate research will challenge you to achieve more. A student to faculty ratio of 15:1 means you'll get the personal attention you deserve.  

East Tennessee State University provides an educational experience that offers 140 majors, 88 minors, 78 graduate, and 30 doctoral degrees. With a 16 to 1 student to faculty ratio, students get one on one support throughout their academic career. Multiple academic resources are available both in and outside of the classroom. Our interprofessional learning environment allows students to learn and work with each other in unique settings, providing them an advantage as they enter the workforce. ETSU's nearly 15,000 students learn and achieve their dreams in our classrooms, research labs, and throughout our community in medical offices, schools, hospitals, and businesses.
