Students succeed in college when given the support, encouragement, and resources to do so. At East Tennessee State University, we help students achieve their goals by offering a wealth of academic resources to enhance their skills. The Advisement Resources and Career Center, also known as the ARCC, is our one stop shop for all of your academic support and career services needs. University Career Services assists students from the time they are considering a major to graduation. Students who are unsure of their major can explore career discovery and personality assessments to aid in choosing the major or career best suited for them. Additional services include career advisement, resume building, interview preparation, and how to network. University Career Services hosts annual career fairs with companies from all across the United States.

In the Center for Academic Achievement, students can find the testing and tutoring centers. The testing center proctors online exams for ETSU courses, as well as some national tests, such as the GRE and Praxis.

The Tutoring Center provides assistance in writing, math, science, and several general education courses. The service is free to current ETSU students and will help you succeed in your courses.
